Welcome to the Domaine de SharPei Diem, a small family kennel dedicated to breeding blue and lilac Shar-Pei out of pure passion for the breed. Every year we plan two to three carefully thought-out litters, always favouring quality over quantity.

Passionate about the Shar-Pei for many years, we are delighted to offer puppies from excellent bloodlines, carefully selected to preserve the breed standard in our blue and lilac dogs while keeping their wonderful temperament intact.

Our stud dog, Stentor, comes from the renowned Noblesse Bleue kennel in Belgium. Our females, Ophélia du Domaine de SharPei Diem, born at home and a daughter of Lovely (Domaine du Brin de Folie), and Rimel du Domaine de SharPei Diem, also born at home and a daughter of Mailane and Nerys de la Noblesse Bleue, complete our breeding programme. Mailane and Nerys, now happily retired, were the dogs that started our kennel.

A SharPei Diem Story… Passionately

Located in Brioude, in the Haute-Loire department of France, near Clermont-Ferrand, the Domaine de SharPei Diem is a small-scale, human-sized kennel driven by genuine love for the breed and a strong commitment to quality. Our goal is to offer healthy blue and lilac Shar-Pei puppies, bred with respect for our values and the breed standard, while giving our dogs the very best care. From choosing your puppy to welcoming it into your home, we remain available for any questions or advice so that your adoption goes as smoothly as possible. We select our breeding dogs carefully, based on the quality of their bloodline as well as their temperament and pedigree.

Our Blue and Lilac Shar-Pei Puppies

With two to three litters a year from our blue Shar-Pei females, we favour quality over quantity. Our dogs enjoy excellent health at the Domaine de SharPei Diem, and our puppies receive the greatest care and attention right up until they leave for their new homes. A reservation is required to welcome one of our blue or lilac Shar-Pei puppies — take a look at our Puppies page to see who is currently available. From time to time we also have puppies in other colours, such as lilac, platinum, black or chocolate.

We are always happy to answer any questions about the breed or the adoption process by telephone. Since our kennel began, we have been proud to place our Shar-Pei puppies with loving families all around the world.

Adopting from Abroad

We regularly welcome adoption enquiries from outside France. For every puppy travelling abroad, we provide a full export pedigree. To make sure our puppies are properly weaned, vaccinated and fit for travel, they may leave our kennel from 3 months and 21 days of age at the earliest. The only exception is Switzerland, where, in accordance with Swiss import requirements, puppies may travel from 9 weeks of age.
